About Me
Alex is currently working at the American Language Institute where he teaches ESL, functions as technology advocate, and trains students and faculty.
Before A.L.I., Alex was a doctoral fellow in Philosophy of Education, Applied Linguistics, and ESL. He also acted as technology liaison.
During the doctoral stuff, he worked on marketing for Nokia. He also supported, designed, and developed Keynote presentations for Al Gore's The Climate Project.
Before all of that, he was a windsurfing instructor in Denmark, Italy, and Germany.

That was funny. I wonder how many of the people interviewed went home and eventually realized that they were completely idiotic…
My favorite part?… Hm, probably when he placed other countries in place of Australia (France, North Korea, etc.) when the interviewer indicated he was from Australia and not only that, the people were convinced he was the Prime Minister – ahhhhh

Very interesting to watch. I think that girl who didn’t know about Vietnam war was the most stupid thing, even the maps were also pretty good.
This happens anywhere so…I can tell when I cross the border to Brazil on the weekends. We don’t know where Uruguay is and they don’t know where Italy is so…
How unutterably sad for the world! People who do not educate themselves become sheep for the slaughter. I remember a saying “War is God’s way of teaching us Geography”… So we only learn where other countries are when we have a loved one who is serving in the military sent there.
Those who support this president must realize that we are now living in a dictatorship rather than a democracy. I can feel the restraints.

To me, living in a little country overseas, where we apparently use ‘the Queens money’ as our currency… It was VERY worrying, considering the power that the USA wields, it was frightening in fact!
I only hope that it wasn’t an accurate representation of the views and knowledge of the american public…
As for us using the Queens money.. it’d be great if we could… Hell! She’s got plenty of it!
