Pathway – The Way to Wikipedia
If you are like me, you probably use Wikipedia for almost anything. Being somewhat of a hypochondriac, Wikipedia is always there to assure me that, yes, I will be dying from an extremely rare disease. Tomorrow.
All joking aside, most of my research projects currently originate out of Wikipedia. I use the encyclopedia to quickly refresh my memory on topics that pertain to my research and then go from there. I find Wikipedia extremely use because of the ‘linked’ nature. Each article present me with endless cross-links to further articles. Sometimes this results in a three-hour reading session.
And now there’s Pathway. Pathway allows me to visually grasp the link-content of a Wikipedia page and therefore makes research easier. I also like to keep my pages open, so that I don’t have to use the browser’s ‘back’ button to get back to where I need to be. Check it out and donate to the author of Pathway, if possible!
