Check out Radar.net – it seems like it might be a pretty cool service for anyone with a camera phone. I’m still looking for a nicer way to post my N93 pictures directly to the web, and while I love flickr, I’m nonetheless going to check this out.

This is the third part of my review series of the new Nokia N93i. This time around I was really mostly interested in comparing the photo and video quality of the two devices. Today is somewhat photo-heave, tomorrow I’ll have more video comparisons.

All right, here are the comparison shots. All images were shot with the factory firmware. I have not made any color correction or used any kind of image editing software. Portrait images were rotated to that format in Flickr, not on the computer.

What do you think? Which camera takes the better pictures? Leave your opinion in the comment section!

In what could quite possibly be the first time in my life that I actually won something, my picture was chosen for first place in womworld.com’s ‘Weird Photo Contest’.

Here’s the original call for submissions and here’s the post that showed that my ‘bull’s balls’ picture indeed won. Ali is jealous now, because I won even though he’s in the picture. I’ll let him use my prize some time.

I’ll tell you more about the prize in the near future once it arrives here!

Travelling in New York City – Day One

We headed to New York City over the weekend to mainly do tourist-y sightseeing. We definitely accomplished that goal. In this, the first of three parts, we’re taking the Staten Island Ferry as a cheap alternative to going to the Statue of Liberty directly. Also, we check out the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square (Ali was excited about that). Carlos could barely hide his disappointment when he saw that the Statue of Liberty is not nearly as big as it appears in TV or in the movies. All video is done with the Nokia N93, for some pictures of the trip -taken with the N93 as well, scroll down.

Picking up the N93 in Chicago

Carlos, Ali and I went to Chicago to pick up my Nokia N93 at the Nokia Store there. We had a great time and Marge at the Nokia Store was super-helpful! Thanks, Marge!
